The historic market town of Chichester, with its theatre and wealth of shops, is 10 miles, Arundel is 8 miles and the seaside resorts of Bognor Regis and Littlehampton are 3 miles. Day trips to France and the Isle of Wight are available from Portsmouth, a short drive away. The area is good for windsurfing and fishing. Excellent base for South Downs walking.
