Step 1
First build a large sandcastle in the shape of a volcano.

Step 2
Make a hole in the top that goes all the way to the ground.


Step 3
Make a small hole on the side that connects to the hole in created Step 2. This hole should be on the wind side of the volcano to enable a draft.


Step 4
Place paper in the centre. can place small bits of dry wood or seaweed in available.

Step 5
The adult should light the paper.
All children should keep well back.

Conclusion
The fire will create smoke that shoots out of the top of the volcano.
